What is Feedati ?
Feedati a simple application that helps you in the creation of RSS 2.0 podcast feeds on Apple Mac OS X computers.
Here's a screenshot of the application.

With Feedati you will be able to:
- Import existing podcast feeds from the Web or from a local file.
- Create new feeds and new episodes for existing feeds.
- Duplicate episodes in a feed for quick editing.
- Search trough your episodes.
- Manage iTunes tags.
- Automatically update you application as new versions will be available.
- And other stuff you will discover using the application.
Which features will be available in the future ?
Well, I'm looking for a number of features to be added into Feedati in the future. Here is a simple list:
- Automatic feed validation.
- Ftp and Rcp copy of the feed to your online service provider.
- Drag and Drop of mp3 files in episodes.
- Drag and Drop of images in episodes.
- mp3 tags editing.
- Spell checking.
- Feed and Episode preferences.
- A lot of other nifty features!
Feedati is developed in my spare time and I cannot say when this features will be available. Eventually they will released as soon as they will be developed and tested.
A special thanks to
- The Webmastro of RadioNK that was very helpful during the first days of life of this application. He is one of the podcast gurus around here. I have also to say that the name of the Application comes from him!
- Andy Matuschak for the Sparkle framework which is managing the autoupdate feature of the application.
- Thanks to M. Uli Kusterer for the fade effect in the About panel. You can find some valuable code here.
- A lot of people from which I have learnt many Cocoa tricks while going through the Apple Cocoa Developer Mailing List.
Final note
Feedati has been much more of a programming exercise in Cocoa than the solution to a real need. I hope you will find it useful. If this is case drop me a line at feedati(at)baloss.com.
